Specialty Coffee in Guadalajara

Guadalajara Coffee Culture

Guadalajara is a different kind of place. Not quite as intense as the capital, but not exactly a sleepy small town either. There are plenty of reasons to visit, not least of which is the astonishly good coffee on offer at the many coffee shops around the city. Mexican coffee shops almost purely source Mexican beans to serve, a big difference from most other major coffee consuming countries. There are multiple reasons for that, but you can forget all the rest and just focus on the most important reason: it’s just that damn good! Of course the best place to try out Mexican coffee is in Mexico itself, so why not pick a place as culturally vibrant as Guadalajara for your coffee tourism of choice? Personally, this is my favorite place for coffee in the country and I know that almost anywhere I go for a cup of specialty coffee is a going to be of the highest quality. Café palReal

Café palReal is the real deal. I swear, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this place not packed, morning, noon or night. Knowing that Café Sublime is behind this spot makes total sense because they really know what they’re doing. They take things seriously, and it extends beyond just the coffee into the food menu too. When you stop by, you might as well take home a bag of their exception Café Estelar as well. They’re all good, so just describe the flavor you like in your cup of coffee, and they’ll guide you to a bean you’ll love.
