Everything from camping in mountains or deserts, to experiencing the unique aspects of a small town, learning something new about the history of a city, and having an invigorating conversation by immersing yourself in the local language, makes all travel worthwhile. It can of course be difficult to arrange and a new challenge to your senses and understanding of the world, but those moments are what travel is all about. Embrace it.
